• TAC, Pondicherry Celebrated Golden Jubilee
  
  
  The alumni association of the Tagore Arts College was revived again on during the Golden Jubilee Celebration of TAC celebrated on 8/8/2012. The enrolment forms were distributed to gatherings. It was informed in the meeting that a alumni association would be formed to motivate the current students.

• A meeting was held in detail to meet the short term objectives. Mr.E.M.Rajan welcomed the gathering. Mr.Kuppusami, Retd., Planning Officer, a TAC Alumni of 1967 batch, Mr.Arunachalam,Retd. DAT are some of the TAC Alumnians participated in the meeting.
• A meeting was held on 2/9/2012 at TAC for discussing the objectives of the Association. Mr.E.M.Rajan welcome the gathering. He spoke on the relevance of the participation of Alumni for reviving the past glories of the institution. The TAC Alumnians opined that mobilizing more members would strengthen the institution. Also, Mr.NJL Ravi gave a lecture on "Using Twitter/Facebook" for social networking. Further, a demo on model website for alumni association and information about email ids were informed and demonstrated by Mr. V. Gopi Swaminathan to the gathering. It was decided to launch the website on 15/9/2012 by inviting dignitaries and informing the press.
